PARIS + by ART BASEL / MUSEE DU LOUVRE
For the second edition of Paris+ par Art Basel, a public program, free and open to all, will unfold across the French capital. The Jardin des Tuileries - Domaine National du Louvre will host ‘La cinquième saison’ (‘The fifth season'), a group exhibition produced in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre and curated by Annabelle Ténèze as director of Louvre-Lens.
The exhibition will explore the idea of the garden as a space of activity and cohabitation of mineral, aquatic, and vegetal elements
In the space of Jardin des Tuileries, the silhouette of Zanele Muholi - artist and visual activist, non-binary, queer, African,Black - interacts with the statues present, with the public, in resonance with the rich history of the place and History of Art.
